Alaska, Awards, Book Signing, & Workshop

Just returned from a fishing trip to Cordova, Alaska with friends. Caught a big silver salmon, but only one. Frank is the expert and just kept reeling them in!

Writing News: Just learned that Martha took second place (silver) in the Reader’s Favorite Book Reviews and Award contest and is #5 on the UK Christian Book List!  God is doing wonderful things! Also, I’m excited about having a book signing at my church, Oasis Fellowship of Ocean Beach on Sept. 18th.

I’ll be teaching a workshop on Biblical Fiction “Scriptural Reality and Poetic License” at our San Diego Christian Writer’s Guild “Write for Life” Conference Sept. 23rd & 24th. See our website: www.sandiegocwg.org.
