When we got home from Alaska, where I caught 2 silver salmon to my husband’s 25+, I checked on the site for Reader’s Favorite Book Review and Award Contest. Mary Magdalene was a finalist in the Christian Historial Fiction category. Wow! Mary M took the gold medalion! I was thrilled. Writing her story was amazing in many ways as I wanted to show her in a far different light from how she’s been portrayed through the centuries. I’m so happy with the results and the reviews. Now I’m hard at work on a book about Ruth for Whitaker House. Another very different view! Maybe I’ll shake a few people up!! : )
