Writing Biblical Fiction is easy. At least for me.  I love the research, both the historical and Biblical. I love getting into the lives of people that lived long ago and bringing them to life for my readers.  Unfortunately, Biblical Fiction seems to be going on the wane.  Sooo, I wrote a book on Halloween for Whitaker House.  That was interesting, to learn about the various customs we observe and their origins. The only problem was that I was in the enemy’s territory and obviously he didn’t like it!  I had numerous trips to the tech desk at Staples, had 400 viruses removed from my computer by an on-line tech, had my manuscript completely disappear from the screen in the middle of a sentence, had my font change in size and also color, without any help from me. Whoa! I was never so glad to send off a manuscript in my life. Then, when I got it back with the edits and list of changes they wanted, I worked diligently to make the changes and complete the edits. Sent it back to my editor.  Then she writes, “Didn’t you see the edits after page 37? You didn’t finish those.”  Yes I had.  Sooo I sent her the pages after 37 in another format and so far it seems okay.  Have you ever had one of those days when you want to cheerfully, or maybe not so cheerfully, throw your computer out the window?  Let me go back to writing fiction! Evidently that doesn’t bother the enemy so much!
