Another song, “The Sound of Rain” made its way to my musical genius in Boston. John takes my chicken scratches and with a FaceTime call to go over the song, turns it into sheet music. Not sure what I’m to do with these songs, but I can report that one of them, “Abba My Father” just sold! That was an exciting event! As I may have mentioned in a previous blog, I don’t read or write music. I just wake up with the song running through my head and put quarter notes on a blank music sheet to remember the tune. John puts in the correct chords, rests, etc. Amazing. All are on SMP Press (Sheet Music Plus) including the Easter Cantata, “Glorious.”

I would love to have a church put that on, the 13 songs are beautiful, and I can’t take credit for that. The Lord runs the melodies in my head. It can be done with full orchestra, a piano, costume, or modern dress. The idea is to tell the most wonderful story in history, how the Lord gave Himself for us. The choir at my church just started up again and its good to be making music again. The director is extremely talented and writes music himself.
