I haven’t mentioned writing but found myself still writing songs. The Lord wakes me up with words and melodies running through my head. I am also working on a fun fiction novel called House of Little Doors, a Bed and Breakfast in the mountains and the characters that live in the town. My songs are up on SMPmusic.com thanks to my talented friend, John, who takes my chicken scratches and turns them into sheet music! He is amazing! I first met him when he was a composition major at Point Loma Nazarene University. He’s working in Boston and he and his girlfriend, Jean, are “J2” and doing some amazing music videos. He plays the piano, and she is a gifted on the cello.
I am still hoping someone will find my Easter musical “Glorious” and put it on in their church. A teen group can do it, just need singers. Costume or modern clothes, piano or orchestra, it works for both. The songs are beautiful and I’m not patting myself on the back, the Lord gets the glory for those!
Also, the hard work of musical friend, Carolyn, who wrote the Prelude, and music for nine instruments! I’m praying 2022 might be the year someone takes a chance on it!
