There are a lot of books out there that tell one’s life story, so why do I think mine is worthy of reading? Somewhere out there is someone who has gone through what I’ve gone through, or knows nothing of the subject I feel compelled to write about. Like Jeanette Wells in “The Glass Castle” I don’t write for sympathy. only enlightenment. I dealt with the enemy and had to be set free for the cloud that had been over my life for years, to lift. Some people shy away from any talk about the enemy of our souls. Yet, if you do not know your enemy, how can do battle with him? The Lord said to “resist the enemy and he will flee from you,” but if you don’t know him, how can you resist him and what weapons do you use? With my dear grandmother in a seemingly harmless religious group that led to demon possession in her 80’s, and my mother telling fortunes with cards, following psychics and people supposedly from outer space, along with astrology, horoscopes and a few other things, my childhood was deep in enemy territory. How my eyes were opened and how God set me free are the subject of my book.
