It was fun setting my romantic suspense story, House of the Forest in Big Bear in the San Bernardino mountains of California. I have an 81 year-old house there and it made a great setting: a motley crew of people trying to find almost a million dollars in stolen bank money and a romance thrown in.
Summary:
A young woman must face her own heart as she deals with the death of her favorite aunt, her precarious engagement to an ambitious young pastor, and her sudden embroilment in the search for long lost bank funds stolen by her estranged uncle years before. The money might be hidden in her aunt’s rustic house in the mountains, and she’s not the only one looking for it.
